A rarity, these days, as deluge upon deluge dumps down -- no gentle lilting rains, half inch at a time, or more:
The biggest, this month, over three inches at once, and there have been seven deluges, this month, pushing us over six inches cumulative rainfall for the month -- at least 20% of the average rainfall for the area and twice what we average for the month.
It rains...
and it rains...
and it rains.
We are sometimes left with a beautiful after-effects as the clouds roll off,
though, often, we are also left with another mess to clean, the strong winds and pounding rain -- scatering debris.
