Hello anybody!

Ari is participating in Nanowrimo this year -- writing a 50,000 word novel in 30 days!!

We started things off with a weird kick off party last Sunday with a bunch of weird people like Waldorf teachers, dungeonmasters, rpg'ers, and the plethora of Who'ers... Needless to say, we felt right at home! (Ari even stood up and spoke! In front of people! Go Ari!!)

50,000: That's a lot of words!

1,667 per day, 69 words per hour, though.. Only about 1.5 per minute..

But since she can't stay up all night and we force her to go to school, realistically she only has about 2 -3 hours per day to write!

She is a marvelous, prolific writer but her previous starts at noveling fizzled so she could use encouragement!

If you have her e-mail address, help support her with many marvelous, motivational missives this month!

If you don't, e-mail us and we'll send it to you, or, leave a word of encouragement here!

As of right now, she still needs to write 1,667 words today!

Go Ari, GO!!!

You can do it, what a fun project for the month.

You've inspired me to do NaBloPoMo which isn't nearly as daunting...but means I have to post on my blog EVERY SINGLE DAY THIS MONTH.

YAY for writing! YAY for Ari!! :)

I could have a famous author living under my roof. Now if she were only as good at keeping her room clean as she was writing....

Go Ari! Mom thinks (KNOWS!) you can do it!!!
