Dear Jared -It's your 10th birthday today! How did this happen? It seems like you were just our little boy and now, look at you, you have grown into this tall, strong, handsome young man. Your mom's heart can't take this growing up thing, ya know. It's hard on us old parents to have 2 kids in double digits now.
But you make us so happy and we enjoy each and every moment we are with you. Your smile is contagious and we can't help but be brightened up by the wonderful laugh you have.
You have become a wonderful friend to your older sister (I'm sure you will be right next to your dad one day, giving the third degree to her potential suitors) and you are an AWESOME big brother to Will. He absolutely adores you and looks up to you and mimics you. He couldn't have asked for a better role model.
You are super smart and love learning and absorbing anything and everything.
You are a great helper (though we have to prod you along sometimes)....but really, we think you vacuum the carpet better than us sometimes!
We hope you have a wonderful birthday and a terrific year ahead.
Thanks a bajillion for picking us to be your parents - you have made and will continue to make us the happiest Mom and Dad on the planet.
