Picture of Will on a horse at a Meijer

Our trailer has a leak in the front storage unit. We've thrown 60 lbs. of caulk at it with no success. As a result, the top reinforcing board has slowly rotted away and now lies upon the bottom of the bin.

The plan was to stop at a lumber yard to secure a replacement after work but I left my wallet at home. So the plan was changed to stop at a lumber yard after dinner to secure a board while Jen whisked Will to the doctor as he has been driving a fever.

Then Will got better and we decided we would all go, with a quick stop first at Meijer to grab a bundle of pull ups.

As we pulled into the lot, Will asked for a penny to hold until checkout, when, he would use it to ride the little rocking penny-ride pony. And that's what he did:

He is a very serious little rider.

And a lucky on too, as he dropped our sole penny twice as we rolled through the aisles and both times, the penny became wedged in his sandal beneath his toes. He thought that was very amusing (so did we!).

As we were leaving, the consensus was drawn, the lumber yard was too much of a hassel and that trip could be made the next day, in the morning, after dropping off the kiddos.

It wasn't and.. We also forgot the pull ups.
