Remembering...

Last night we took a walk around the Township Civic Center Grounds. They're close by....really. See below, we are standing on the soccer fields and right behind the pine trees is our cul-de-sac. Cool, huh?!

About 5 or so years ago, the Township decided to add a War Memorial to the grounds to honor those that resided within the boundaries who had served. We walked over to it as I don't think the kids remembered it. They were much younger the last time we were there.

When they were constructing the memorial, families could purchase a paver brick to honor their loved one. Lauren and I did just that for Dad!

We had a great time exploring our new area last night and I think Dan has a ton more pics to share.....(the dog park, the sledding hill, the old city hall, the log cabin, etc...) And if you come to visit, we'll show you around too!
