Dan says I don't post enough...while I know I have things to say (some might say too much), I often don't find the time to sit down and write about them....too much to do. So - there, that's my inspiration - filling you in on all our recent happenings.
Life, as we know it, is never anything short of chaotic in our house. And this is summer vacation! Just wait till school starts.......YIKES!
It is still hard for all of us not to have Lucky in the house. We'll never accept that he's gone - we just adjust. There are so many things that we do on a daily basis that we can vividly picture him in a certain spot at that time - or at least he should be in that spot. Riley is enjoying all of the attention and extra walks.....though we all benefit from the extra walks!
William is starting to crawl. He can move forward about 2-3 scoots and then plops down. I suspect he will accomplish the length of a room within the next few weeks. And then watch out - it's all over then!!!
Arianna and Jared are soaking up the last few weeks of summer break....taking advantage of the late nights (staying up past Mom - oh, wait - they always do that!). Back to school shopping occurs this weekend. I am amazed at the amount of stuff required!!! Can't they just get by with some paper and a pencil? Everything is done on computer anyways!!!
We'll hit the road for an extended weekend next week. Our last camping trip before school starts. I'm sure Dan will have the requisite wild life and wild flower pictures for you upon our return. You would think I would be the one posting about all the pretty flowers....but he is so much better at it.
Reading back on this, it doesn't sound like we are all that busy.....but something fills the time between coming home from work and bedtime and the weekends?????? Oh yeah - hanging out with the kids and enjoying them as much as possible. Housework? I laugh!!!
Enjoy your weekend!!!

We seem to spend a lot of time in grocery stores.
For some reason.
We have a picky-eating daughter and 2 sons that each require their own refrigerator...we need to own a grocery store!
Isn't that why we started the garden?
