Sleeping dogs, lying

The other night, Riley decided to wedge himself behind the couch, in the twelve inch space too small, so that he had to stretch his legs beneath.

Gratefully, he did manage to extract himself many hours later.

Far from the strangest nap-time behavior, Ranger has taken to pulling his bed out from the corner, tucked beside the couch, and pulling it across the room, directly in front of the television.  Here, tongue hanging out and holding up bunny ears:

Will, that is.  Ranger sleeps.

We pulled the bed back -- dog atop and not amused -- to see if it was just a matter of coincidence as he fluffed his pillow.  Each time, he pulled it back to the position, centered directly below the t.v..  I imagine he likes to think we come to the living room to sit, to admire him.
