We're dinosaurs, we love to ROOOOOOAAAAARRR!!!!

But maybe not first thing Monday morning:

Our exuberant dinosaur devotee is four years old today and enjoying Jurrassic jollifications because, as he told the little boy that sat next to him while eating a hot dog at Cosco, "Dinosaurs are awesome!"

Said with eyes pinched closed

and wrinkled nose.

Loudly.

One of his gifts, a dino hat, worn very seriously.

We also made a dino cake:

I thought it was an Hypsilophodon but Will believes it to be a diplodocus, with offspring.  He will be happy to discuss if you disagree.

We save our presents to the kids for their actual birthdays, so this morning, before we spread off to our five different destinations, Will opened his last couple of presents, including his own pair of slot cars which we had to give a brief test run this morning:

As you can barely see, Will's grey blur narrowly edged my red blur for a thrilling, down to the wire victory.
