Gar

Gar are ancient bony fish that date back to the mesozoic era, however, they have nothing to do with this little bit of news that slipped by me a couple months ago:  The old Grand River castle was purchased and is being restored!

We walked by this about 750 times on our way home from Cass, which is looming over the little white church, there in the background.

Speaking of Cass, I did not enjoy my time there, but that's hard to see...

Harder to believe, especially for you long gone old timers, but the corridor is becoming a bit of a hot spot for redevelopment, connecting downtown through the new center, to the point that some people are worrying about gentrification!
