What Has November 30th Brought Us?

1. It brought us a dip in temps (high of 34 today) and a light dusting of snow overnight, which gave us slippery, slidey roads this morning.

2. It brought us an evening walk, all bundled up.  Dan anticipated a brisk, quick walk for exercise.  I anticipated a slower pace, checking out all of the holiday decorations walk.  Yes, he stopped several times waiting for me to catch up!

3. It brought us frustration that my candy cane striped solar lights out front are not working.  Of course, we haven't had much in the way of solar to recharge them during the day.  

4. It brought us A Muppets Christmas special.  And I'm thinking there could be a trip to the movies this weekend for the Muppets movie.

5. It brought us tasty cream puffs (store-bought)

6. It brought us a snow day for J (well, ok a no power day)

7. It brought us a completion to addressing our Christmas cards and dropping them in the mail - yay!

8. It brought us to the end of NaNoWriMo.  Dan and Ari are currently uploading their 50,000+ word novels.  I am so proud of Ari for finishing this.  I am proud of Dan, too.

9. It brought us to the end of NaBloPoMo.  I am glad I participated as it forced me to post something every day and not be lazy and go weeks on end without an update.  I told my Mom I was going to take a break on December 1 and she said that was not acceptable.  *grumble grumble*

10. And the best thing that November 30 brought us is the leadway into December.  I LOVE December!  So many things to be excited about the month....I was first given the title "Mom" on December 23, 1997.  I extended that title to #3 on December 19, 2007.  I get to be an Aunt again sometime in December....and let me tell you, I can not WAIT to hold Sophia Irene.....

So, I did it.  *Pat on the back* I survived NaBloPoMo......and lived to write about it!
