This is Friday's Post

Can you believe I made it all the way to November 25th and then I skipped a day of posting???  The shame, the shame, the shame.
Can I tell you my really good excuse????  I went to bed at 10:30 on Thursday night.  I fell into a really good deep sleep till 1:00am when a certain 3 year old hopped in to bed with us.  Then I spent the next 2.5 hours tossing and turning.  I had my alarm set for 3:45 but then I decided I shouldn't let the alarm go off so as to not wake Will and Dan.  So, I did manage to get out of bed around 3:40 and turn off the alarm.  I got ready and Lauren picked me up at 4:20.  We picked up Mom and were at Target by 4:45!
I got an awesome deal on a new waffle iron.  It cooks 4 belgian waffles at a time.  And with a family of 5, I need that!  Plus, Christmas morning, we are serving waffles to everyone, so Lauren and Mom are bringing over their waffle irons and we'll have an assembly line going.  Waffles for 15 people will be a cinch!
We hit lots of stores, made stops for breakfast, lunch and a later dessert and I was finally dropped off at home at 5:30 that afternoon.  Yep.....13 hours out!
Did I mention it was A.W.E.S.O.M.E!!!!!!!

I kinda waved back and forth between consciousness and unconsciousness for the remainder of the evening, hence no post.

So, I will do 2 posts today....the second to come later with a hint at our Christmas cards....off to do family pictures!!!!
