Things I am Loving Today...

This adorable boy who continues to Wow us everyday.  He loves playing on the computer, mimics everything his older siblings and cousin do, he told us today that play and yay rhyme and he can spell W-I-L-L!
I made an apple upside down cake today.  It was quite tasty.  Jared asked me what made it an upside down cake since it looked like just a regular boring yellow cake in the pan.  I told him to watch as I flipped it out of the pan (praying the whole time that it came out in one piece) and voila! upside down cake.  He was impressed.  Well, about as impressed as a 10 year old can be with his Mom....
I made pancakes this morning on our new cast iron stove top grill.  It was pretty awesome...and the pancakes were pretty good too, if I can say so myself...
Our coffee maker decided that yesterday was the day it would stop working....and by stopping, I mean it sent hot brewed coffee out of the sides of the filter holder so it could run down the outside of the coffee pot and all over the counter.  Nice, right?  I complained to my Mom that I would have to buy a new coffee pot (we, er...I, have a keurig....Dan prefers brewing his sludge...I mean his really strong coffee, in the coffee pot).  Mom said, no worries, you can have our Krups.  It's just sitting down in the basement since we have the other two coffee pots in the kitchen.  Seriously, who keeps extra coffee pots around?  Parents do, that's who!  So when their kids need a quick replacement, they fly in and save the day.  THANKS MOM AND DAD!!!

Dan made dinner while I was out visiting my Grandparents.  He made a homemade curry with some of the fantastic veggies we were able to pick up at the farmers market yesterday.  (and then we had apple cake for dessert!)
