The Stockings Were Hung By the Chimney with Care

Today was busy! After Church, we had lunch with Santa.  Will was very eager to see him this year and tell him everything on his wish list. 

When we came home, I started to pull out some of the decorations.  I have my mantle done.

And the manger out.  The tree won't go up for probably another 2 weeks or so since we always get a live tree.  Also, my outside decorations are not yet up since we were busy yesterday (ya know, the dog) and today it rained....ALL.DAY.LONG!!!!!!!

In all of yesterday's craziness (ya know, the dog), I forgot to tell you about Will's mishap.  He was so excited to run outside with the dogs that he totally misstepped exiting the back door and took a total face dive onto the patio.  OUCH!!!!  And yes, it's as bad as it looks.  He's a real trooper though.  And I am so thankful that it was only this bad.  No stitches,  no broken nose and no missing teeth.  Oh and it also happened after our family pictures.....*whew*

Back to work tomorrow.  So hard after being home for the past 5 days.  But now my Christmas vacation countdown begins.  Only 18 working days left!!!!!
