My Thankful List

1. First and foremost, my children.  My wonderful, beautiful, talented, bright, huggable, snuggable, kissable, loveable, sometimes grumpy, awesome, cheery, adaptable, energetic, artistic, creative, playful, adventurous kids!!!
2. My husband.  Best friend, love of my life, awesome cook, wonderful house cleaner, chauffeur, great sidekick, loves me unconditionally.
3. My parents. Thank you for raising me in a warm, loving home, always providing for my needs (and usually my wants), for being wonderful grandparents to my children and for continuing to take care of me in different ways.
4. My in-laws.  For raising such a wonderful son and for being a second set of parents to me and warm, loving grandparents to our kids.
5. My sister.  My friend, my confidante, shopping partner. Thanks for being you.  For being there for me.  
6. My Bacia, who is now enjoying happily ever after with Grandpa Joe.  I am so grateful that I had her in my life for so many years and that my children were able to have a special bond with her that they will always remember.  I miss her so.  She loved this time of year. 
7. My grandparents.  Gammie and Papa.  We are so blessed to still have them with us.  Though time and age are wearing on them, we have so many great memories of trips past, holidays and general gatherings.  It is such a gift for my children to know their great-grandparents.
8. My dog, Riley.   He's a great companion.  He loves to be lazy.  He loves attention. He enjoys our camping trips and he is thrilled when it's bedtime.
9. Our home.  It's small, it's quaint, it suits us just fine.  
10. Our jobs.  No one likes to go to work but in order to provide for our family, we must.  And we are both blessed with very good, very flexible, family friendly jobs.
11. Food on the table. Food in the fridge, in the cupboards and our freezer full of garden goodness from this past summer's crop.
12. Vacations.  Those we have taken, those we are currently planning (ssshhhh....secret!) and those we don't know about yet but *hopefully* will be lucky enough to do one day
