Some Dame's rocket, a European invader (Hesperis matronalis).

The lack of foliage out in the boglands makes identification a little more challenging. This one appears to be from the Scrophulariaceae family and might be slender beard tongue.

A Fabaceae, one of the peas, probably everlasting pea (Lathyrus palustris) based on the leaves.

An impatient spotted jewel weed, impatiens capensis.

And, British soldiers on the amphetheatre bench. Obviously waiting for the show.

Beautiful pic of the slender beard tongue (we should come up with a more apt common name for such a beautiful flower). And great new pics of the kids. Sounds like you had a great time. We had fun in Oregon but missed all of you--not the same without the whole gang there. Congrats to Ari and Jared on their acceptance to new schools and programs! An exciting year ahead!
Well, it's descriptive if plebeian, sort of like the Very Large Telescope!
