A birthday party
I can’t speak for the adults or more civilized that attended the soiree but the birthday boy and, at least, several of his like aged invitees relished the raucous ruckus.
There were a few alarms raised in the neighborhood as smoke wafted from our windows and we can now assertively state that gunpowder does not extinguish easily and not especially with the simple methods employed against some vanilla, wax candle. The children were a bit concerned and kept their distance – except, naturally, Jared, as: Just another day in the life of…
We followed frosted feasting by indulging in the joy elicited from when acid meets base, commencing eruptions of soda, seltzer grenades, exploded sandwich bags and figuring in a whoopee cushion and dismembered hand.Oh, we also built gliders.
The children returned home smelling vaguely of pickles and quinine.
