As you can see, it is mostly driveway
Please enter through the fortuitously Will-thwarting, heavy, sticky front door into the living room.
If you slide to the left the hall takes us to the bedrooms.
Despite the lovely butterfly and flower border, this room has taken on a very teenager-y feel.
The boys have cooperatively agreed to share a room and they really like the bunk bed.
See? (It's been an exhausting week)
Back down the hall, taking a left we enter the kitchen with a fabulous granite counter and lots of shiny appliances.
Just adjacent the kitchen, conveniently, is the dining area where you can see William enjoying half a piece of toast, one bite of egg, two bites of banana and a yogurt. He might be a bird.
Walking through the dining area, the patio doors open to this lovely outdoor space which some random people discovered made a very pleasant place to hang out and chat.
Swinging around to the right, in front of the garage, you can see how ridiculously large the driveway is: Up to 10 cars can park.
Back around the other side, we uncovered this nice little garden in front of the pool. This looks like an excellent future home for vine-y things.
See? (It's been an exhausting week)We call this the middle yard, anchored by the pool and garage on opposite sides.
it is uncovered because we couldn't even see it (nor did we even know if there was an air conditioner) because the weeds were so thick (tons of sowthistle).
Looking at the middle yard from the back.
Beyond the pool, garage and middle yard, the back, back yard. In the distance, there, are our buckets of tomatoes, peppers and herbs.
As for the pool, it is very large. So large, in fact, we hired a full time life guard:
We opened the pool Saturday and since have had little sun but a lot of rain -- on the order of four inches in 24 hours.
Cousin Gina thought the water was a bit too cool but the one impervious to cold has been swimming until sunset, since.

And your little life guard is pretty cute...
Thanks for the pictures honey. I've been so busy trying to get things in place that I didn't even think about sharing progress with others. Great job!
And that life guard is ADORABLE!!!
Looks wonderful! You guys did an amazing job moving and unpacking. I can't wait to visit and take it all in in person.
