Our Starry Night team is comprised of Jared and Samantha. This is Samantha's last year as she is a 5th grader but prior to this year, she was Arianna's teammate the 2 previous years. It just seemed natural for Jared to take over.
The top 8 teams (out of the 50 that participated) received a medal. Since Dan is the County Supervisor for Starry Night, he was charged with making up and facilitating the test. Therefore, he also had to grade it....and therefore, he also knew the results! That last part was something he tried to keep from me as he wanted me to be surprised at the awards ceremony. Fortunately our team's head coach was happy to share with me that we placed.........
