Random from Ionia

As we enjoyed a glass or two of Trapiche Syrah (very nice!) over dinner, celebrating as we do with food, on our 13th anniversary (no children attached), our considerations ambled upon, of course -- and spurred by, likely, the cry of a child disagreeable to the somber envelope -- little e's.

We have marveled at the children's stratospheric leaps in cognitive and physical abilities as they matured, specifically with Ari (J seemed often more dragged to higher aptitude, literally by and for his reverence to the High Priestess) and also Will. Not a month ago, he was mostly a giggly, stationary lump.

Then, the weekend we split to Ionia, he abruptly became a crawling, standing, trying to walk and determined being, as if shedding a skin and awakening consciousness.

"Dad, if you're going to stick me in here, at least go really fast!!!"

Will discovers outdoors. "Yeah!"
