The St Clair Shores Devil Rays played courageously through torrential downpour but were unable to advance to the finals. They loaded the bases every inning and while their pitchers and ours struggled with the heavy rain, the Orioles' pitchers ultimately triumphed under pressure.

A marvelous season for the Devil Rays, overcoming an 0-3 start to storm (heh) into the playoffs and through the first round.

The poor kids were drenched by the end of the game. The less hardy Tigers delayed their game an hour and a half for the weather (though they're over .500 now! Go Tigers!)
