Splish Splash....

Last Friday was the kids last day of school. I picked them up and took them to lunch.....we ventured to the new local outdoor mall - Partridge Creek. Awesome, awesome place. We started with lunch at California Pizza Kitchen. If you've never been - you must GO. If you have been - you must agree with me that it is one of the best restaurants around. Grandma Carole, Grandpa, Bacia, Auntie Lauren and Gina joined us. We decided to just order various menu items so as to enjoy as many things as possible. I wish I had pictures to share with you of the food we had - so just trust me when I say 'you have to go there!!!'

After lunch, we decided to walk around the mall - which technically, you are walking around outside since it is an outdoor mall. In the winter time, the sidewalks are heated - how cool is that!! In the center of the mall, they have a kids sprinkler area set up. So, as the adults did some shopping, the kids ran around the sprinkler garden. I did bring towels but failed to bring a change of clothes for them (yes, Mom, I know - you told me so!)But since it was 93 degrees outside - the kids dried out on the walk back to the car.

So - that was the official start to the kids summer vacation. They are plotting when they can go back to enjoy the sprinkler park again. Soon kids, soon.....as I want to go back to California Pizza Kitchen - and take Dad too, as he has yet to enjoy this wonderful new addition to our neighborhood!!
