Parable of the law

Clinton Township entertains an annual Cops and Kids day whereat the kids have a chance to meet the local agents of the law and survey various law enforcement paraphernalia (and the police have the opportunity to sort out future recruits from the delinquents).

It’s a good time with lots of free give-aways from local business, inflatable bounce things and Kevlar.

Clinton Township’s top notch S.W.A.T. team.

Don’t let the smiles fool you.

J has been working towards a career in law enforcement since he was young, when, after being tucked in bed and having had a story read, would wait a few minutes (until we were comfortably situated on the couch), don his lion’s cap, sunglasses and badge and march out to the family room. He then stood there, silent, staring through his shades until we properly acknowledged him with a “Hello, Officer Jared!” No other response was acceptable and would be greeted with a stern, “Ahem!!”

That never got old..

Here, Ari is executing the difficult Bipedal Rapid Execution Airborn Kick.

J is sponsored by the letter X.

Kid looks sharp.

The officers cooled off with a quick dip in the pool.
