Here are a couple of articles you might find interesting (everybody but mostly J). The first is a study looking at how information can be recovered from a black hole. (Remember Stephen Hawking's recanted hypothesis?)

The other looks at an experiment testing Hawking's prediction that event horizons create particles and anti-particles (think Bunnies Made of Cheese), by simulating a black hole in water. Neat!
