Lora: Let’s get to class. We can hang out at recess and talk about our dogs

Amber: Right; let’s meet by the old willow tree. I can have 6 friends over this afternoon. You can all come. Amanda, Nancy, bring one of your friends each.

Lora: Ok let’s--

Principle Shay: Get to class girls!

Nancy: Sorry principle Shay. We were just going to class now.

Principle Shay: Next time its detention!

The girls walk to class.

Alana: See you guys in Art!

Art class

Ms. Dolan: And paint and stroke and paint and stroke….

Alana: I think Ms. Dolan has officially gone crazy.

Nancy: Yea she has gone a little crazy recently

Ms. Dolan: Girls is there a problem?

All Girls: No Ms. Dolan

Ms. Dolan: Good. Let’s get back to work then.

After class

Darla: What happened guys?

Lora: We were just talking about our play date after school.

Darla: Ok; Bye guys!

All girls: Bye Darla!

Amanda: Wait!!!! Do you want to come to the sleepover?

Darla: Ok. Let me call my mom and see if it’s ok with her.

Darla dials her mom on the cell phone

Darla: Hi mom. No I’m fine. Yes I have no homework. Yea; Anyways, can I go over to Amber’s house tonight for a sleepover? Ok. Thank you so much. Bye!

Darla hangs up phone.

Darla: She said yes!

Amber makes list of people coming

Amber: Let’s see, Me, Darla, Amanda, Lora, Nancy, Alana, and I’ll have to call mom to tell her what to buy for the party. We should each suggest something.

Darla: Pop!

Amanda: Pizza!

Lora: Skittles!

Nancy: M & M’s

Alana: French fries!

Amber: Ok ok. I’ll call mom later and tell her what to buy.

RRRRING!!!!

Alana: Oh no! Not class again! At least we can talk at recess.

Headed to class

Lora: Quick before Principle Shay sees us!

Girls started running

Darla: Finally! Music, Ms. Pisces

Alana: Yea. I hear she’s the nicest music teacher in the whole school.

Girls take their seats.

Nina: Pssst! You’re so lucky that this is Ms. P or it would be a week of detention for all of you and you would be in separate rooms so you couldn’t even talk just for being late!

Darla: Yea I know. I got in de--”

Ms. Pieces: Darla, Nina? Is there something you would like to share with the class?

Darla: No Ms. Pieces. We’re sorry.

Ms. Pieces: Thank you.

After class

RRRRRING!!!!

Lora: YESSSS!!! Recess time!

Darla: Remember we only have an hour though. We’ll have to plan quickly. I can’t wait!

Alana: Yea. We need to figure out what we need to buy, and how to earn the money for it

Amber: I can’t wait until we get on that bus!

Nancy: Let’s make a list of the things we need for the sleepover: pop, pizza, skittles,

M & M’s, Oreos, fries, hot dogs, cheeseburgers, games, DVD’s, sleeping bags, and pillows for a pillow fight!

Amanda: I haven’t called my mom yet though. I need to borrow somebody’s cell phone.

Alana: Of course you can borrow mine! Let me just find it. Hmmm… This could be tougher than I thought.

Alana dumps out her purse and starts searching for her cell phone

Alana: Here we go!

Alana takes the cell phone out and hands it to Amanda

Amanda: Thanks Alana. I couldn’t go to the sleepover if I didn’t call my mom first.

Alana: You’re welcome. After all, what are friends for?

Lora: (laughs) Wow you guys! You should be actors! Seriously that was hilarious! I’m cracking up!

Darla: Lora they get the point. You guys were hilarious though.

Amber: Yeah. Ok. Let’s get to business! We know what to buy, we know who’s coming, we need to figure out what movie to get.

Darla: Harry Potter!

Amber: PG-13. It has to be G or PG or my mom won’t get it.

Alana: Hmm… how about the Incredibles?

Amber: We’ve all seen that 10 million times already

Lora: Well… Your mom could always take us to Blockbuster with her.

Amber: Ok we have that all figured out. What time are we going to fall asleep at?

Lora: NEVERRRRRR!!!

Amber: Ok. If you fall asleep we will blow my dad’s old trumpet in your ear! Ha-ha!

Alana: I can bring my new Hannah Montana Best of Both Worlds CD.

Amber: Awesome! I have the DVD so it can be Hannah Montana themed! I have a lot of stuff left over from my b-day party!

Amanda: If you don’t mind, I can bring my Hannah Montana signed picture from her concert.

Alana: That would be awesome! I LOOOOVE HANNAH MONTANA!!!!!

Later that night at the sleepover…

Amanda: I am so happy we did a themed sleepover instead of just a regular sleepover.

Lora: Yeah. Let’s have a dance competition to the Hannah Montana songs! Then we can sing them and do American Idol Hannah Montana style.

Lola: Yo peeps; how ‘ya doing? I am so bored I-”

Amber: Whatever Lola. Shouldn’t you be out with your boyfriend Mark?

Lola: Not ‘til 8:00. It’s only 7:30. And no I don’t leave until he picks me up.

Mandy: Hey guys!

Darla: How many sisters do you HAVE?!?!?

Amber: 2 and a baby brother. Don’t worry. Mandy is 3 years younger so her bedtime is 7:00 and Lola will be out until midnight with Mark.

All girls: Phew! Glad to hear!
