Expeditions

As Ari said, the ladies are heading to Chicago this weekend with Ari's girl scout troop. The guys on the other hand are headed off to the woods camping. That is one fine looking rig

Joining us are Lynn, John and.. Rachel? Who is in town for a visit coincidently on a weekend when we had all planned to be away. We communicate well..

We are headed to Metamora which is the campground where I believe Mom told me she would never go camping with us again. Something about a tornado.
The cabin Mom and Dad were supposed to stay in was closed -- because that tree in the second photo above was aggressively leaning towards the cabin.

We all stayed together in the trailer and had a great time. But I don't think I have been forgiven. Also, storms are predicted for this weekend. You're not reading this, right? Mom? Mom..?

Nevertheless, Metamora is one of our preferred weekend escapes only 1 1/2 hours from home with great trails and beach.
